MRC is an agency under the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC) and its main function is to undertake the market promotion of quality Malaysian rubber and rubber products in world markets.
As part of its efforts to promote investments in high-value products and technologies within the rubber and rubber products industry, MRC has established the MRC Global Funding for Rubber Innovation (GFRI) to seed innovative inter- disciplinary non-fundamental research with good commercial viability. The MRC GFRI was officially launched by YB Datuk Hajah Zuraida Kamaruddin, the Minister of MPIC on 7 June 2022.
MRC is pleased to invite researchers from your organisation to apply for the GFRI by submitting research proposals on the following website.
